The Northeast Center for Occupational Health and Safety in Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing (NEC) is located at the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH) in Cooperstown, NY. NEC serves a thirteen-state region from Maine to Virginia and conducts health and safety research, provides safety trainings and offers occupational health screenings and services to workers in the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing (AFF) industries. These efforts are undertaken in partnership with other NIOSH centers, state and federal agencies, land grant universities, medical centers and AFF advocacy groups.
